Only 11 year old girl but famous all over the country can you imagine that. Yes we are talking about a 11 years old girl name Afrin Shekha Raisha is commonly known as Raisha. She is studying in Azimpur Green line School. At this young age she has already acted in several commercials and Dramas.

But her anointing in the film industry was quite Royal. She confirmed her place in the movie ‘jodi ek din’ by producer Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz by defeating 47 other highly competitive contestants in the audition. They have been grooming her for better representation of her character in the movie.

Afrin Shekha Raisha learned how to ride a bicycle which was one of the integral parts of her character. She told us her favorite actress is Nusrat Imrose Tisha who’s acting mesmerizes her every time. In her words, “She is my love (heart). I never miss her acting, not even a single drama or movie.”

Raisha acted in character of famous actor Tahsan’s daughter ‘Rupkotha’ by producer Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz. Recently she has celebrated her 11th birthday. Now she is in 5th grade in Azimpur Green Land Model School.

Raisha achieved The Best Child Actress Award from Rtv. We came to that after watching her acting in that Drama Muhammad Mostofa Kamal Raaj the director of the film ‘Jodi Ekdin’ was mesmerized and immediately contacted her family. It is worth mentioning that, in this movie there is complete song about Raisa (Rupkotha).

Raisha’s mother Ruksana Begum thinks that, “It is more likely that children grow up with their parent’s identity; but we are being known by people because of our daughter – and it’s a matter of pride for us.” Her mother said she was offered to act in this movie around the end of 2017.

She also said that after watching Raisha’s acting in the drama ‘Makhon Miar Udar Bouta’ telecasted in Rtv. Producer Mostafa Kamal called her and invited her in the audition. She was selected after the audition. Producer Raj himself started teaching her to ride a bike on the roof of his office from that day. The shooting started in January 2018.

This emerging child actor finished her shooting in between the breaks from her school and studies. Raisha did not have to look back after that commercial for Super Star LED bulb by producer mostofa sarwar farooki which ornamented many billboards at different points of the capital.

After that she worked in several commercials along with for famous multi-national conglomerate company RFL. She began acting in dramas for the first time in ‘Ochena Megher Shondhane’. After that she was seen in dramas like ‘Shukher Charpotro’, ‘Makhon Miar Udar Bou’ and many more.

A new gallery named Celebrity Gallery opened on Friday in Gulshan.
The gallery displays 32 sculptures of different prominent personalities including Sheikh Hasina, Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Che Guevara, Shakira, Michael Jackson, Shahrukh Khan, Donald Trump,
Bob Marley, Lionel Messi, Rowan Atkinson, Johnny Depp, Charlie Chaplin and others.

All the sculptures have been made from fiberglass by noted sculptor Mrinal Haque, who has made tremendous contribution in the field of mural sculpture at home and aboard.
‘I funded the initiative out of my own pocket since I did not find any sponsor. The reason for making this gallery is to give the mass people a chance to get a glimpse of what the first world countries offer like Madame Tussauds and the likes,’ said Mrinal Haque while speaking at a press conference held at the gallery on Friday.
‘Though I have started the journey with 32 sculptures, I have plans to increase the number up to 60,’ he added.
The gallery will remain open every day for visitors from 12:00-8:00pm

In ancient times, a newborn would open its eyes and cry amidst sunlight and inhaling pure air. It would smile seeing the animals and the moon. I often think how lucky those babies were! They grew under the blue sky, played hearing the sound of stream and adorned their life with fragrance of soil. Living close to nature they had the best interactions. But what about us? I can hardly see moon through buildings , no fresh air or even fresh water in river!

May be this is why ancient people were simple and innocent, while exploiting nature modern civilization just made our life complicated. Since we don’t have direct connection with nature, how will the people of our generation learn from nature let alone use it in their life?
Actually, direct connection with nature obsolete if we really want to learn. Some observation is more than enough. Nature is our mother which takes care of us like her own child; it is our inspiration and our first school. Wherever you are, in Bangladesh or in USA, the vast nature with its teaching materials is around you like shadow.

A burning example of my life is, nature teaches me to become grateful. The little plant in my home, I take care of it with water and fertilizer. In return, it gave me much happiness with flower and fruits. But alas! This gratefulness of nature often remain unnoticed by human being and without learning from it, some human keep hurting nature by polluting environment and cutting trees. Is that a really way to behave with our mother? I hope not.

There is an obvious affection between parents and child, which is surprisingly taught by nature. Animals taught human to make family, society and yes, like animals, our parents also watch over us, after a day’s hard work for food, they feeds staying unfed. This apparent harmony is nothing but a valuable teaching of nature.
Everyday the sun rises in the east and sets in the west routinely, so does the moon, birds and countless elements of nature. Nature inspires us to be abide by schedule. To be good-friend, to keep patience, and most importantly to love are obligatory philosophies of nature as well.

I learned from my sister that 2007, cyclone ‘Sidr’, went over Bangladesh. Most of which was defended by our mangrove forest ‘Sundarbans’ as a result many lives were saved. This taught us to love others and come forward in someone’s time of need without any personal interest. During storm, trees fought the wind to defend themselves from the menace. Like this we must learn to be strong in danger.
Sometimes the sky rumbles with flashes of light , rain sweeps the earth. After a while everything becomes quiet. We also loose temper, which is typical, but we need to make our frenzy brief. Again, summer comes with heat wave and warmth making life miserable but that same summer blesses us with juicy fruits like mangoes, berries etc. This teaches that relief hides in trouble.

Surprisingly, our society maintains a food chain just as the eco system. The rich torment the poor just as large animals (e.g. tiger, lion) prey on smaller animals (e.g. deer, rabbit). However we can learn togetherness from nature too. Bees are social creatures that live in harmony supporting each other. We can appreciate the benefits of social life from them.
In these ways, we can seek the positive lessons from nature to adorn life like a blooming rose. But how to implement the lessons? I believe opening the eyes of mind instead of the literal eyes will help feeling other’s pain. Sit quiet rather than foolishly destroying our senses and think how we can assist the helpless and protect the society while living an active life as a global citizen.

If one person starts changing, one child plants a tree, tomorrow many will follow that. Day after tomorrow, the world will start changing. With these simple inspiration from nature, we helped a street child to study which will help him to work for the world. This implementation of my learning from nature is the ultimate satisfaction.

How to Make Your Future Habits Easy.This article is an excerpt from Atomic Habits, my New York Times bestselling book.

While researching Atomic Habits, I came across a story that immediately struck me with its simplicity and power. It was the story of Oswald Nuckols, an IT developer from Natchez, Mississippi, and his simple strategy for making future habits easy.

Nuckols refers to the approach as “resetting the room.”

For instance, when he finishes watching television, he places the remote back on the TV stand, arranges the pillows on the couch, and folds the blanket. When he leaves his car, he throws any trash away. Whenever he takes a shower, he wipes down the toilet while the shower is warming up. (As he notes, the “perfect time to clean the toilet is right before you wash yourself in the shower anyway.”)

This might sound like he’s just “cleaning up” but there is a key insight that makes his approach different. The purpose of resetting each room is not simply to clean up after the last action, but to prepare for the next action.

“When I walk into a room everything is in its right place,” Nuckols wrote. “Because I do this every day in every room, stuff always stays in good shape . . . People think I work hard but I’m actually really lazy. I’m just proactively lazy. It gives you so much time back.”

I have written previously about the power of the environment to shape your behavior. Resetting the room is one way to put the power back in your own hands. Let’s talk about how you can use it.

The Power of Priming the Environment

Whenever you organize a space for its intended purpose, you are priming it to make the next action easy. This is one of the most practical and simple ways to improve your habits.

For instance, my wife keeps a box of greeting cards that are presorted by occasion—birthday, sympathy, wedding, graduation, and more. Whenever necessary, she grabs an appropriate card and sends it off. She is incredibly good at remembering to send cards because she has reduced the friction of doing so.

For years, I was the opposite. Someone would have a baby and I would think, “I should send a card.” But then weeks would pass and by the time I remembered to pick one up at the store, it was too late. The habit wasn’t easy.

There are many ways to prime your environment so it’s ready for immediate use. If you want to cook a healthy breakfast, place the skillet on the stove, set the cooking spray on the counter, and lay out any plates and utensils you’ll need the night before. When you wake up, making breakfast will be easy.

Want to draw more? Put your pencils, pens, notebooks, and drawing tools on top of your desk, within easy reach.
Want to exercise? Set out your workout clothes, shoes, gym bag, and water bottle ahead of time.
Want to improve your diet? Chop up a ton of fruits and vegetables on weekends and pack them in containers, so you have easy access to healthy, ready-to-eat options during the week.

These are simple ways to make the good habit the path of least resistance.

A Magician Who Always Conducts Magic Shows for Children

The word “Magic” is quite magical itself. A sad person can be made happy after seeing a magic show. There is nobody who does not like magic. However, children are the ones to be the most fond of magic. In Bangladesh, there are thousands of magicians and some of them are quite renowned.

Children are the future of a nation. They need our support and love. If we show them our love, they will grow up to be good human beings. Today we are going to talk about a magician who loves children and most of his magical shows are organized for children. This renowned Magician’s name is Rajib Basak. Day by day he is becoming a mile stone for magic in Bangladesh. He is extremely talented and in his heart, which is as big as an ocean, he holds boundless love for children,

Rajib Basak was born in Chittagong on 17^th of July in 1970. His father Late Biswanath Basak and mother Late Swati Basak.

Rajib wants people to give magic the respect it deserves as a profession. He has performed in about 10,000 magic shows till now. He even has a record of performing in 11 shows in one day, which is a record in Bangladesh.

Rajib Basak believes that magic is an art, which is not being practised as much as it should be. There is at least one Shilpokola academy in every district where Dance, Art, Music and some other forms of art are being practiced. But magic is not taught in any institution, which is quite disheartening,

Magic, as has been mentioned before, is an amazing form of art that can really change a person who practises it. Therefore Rajib thinks we should put the spotlight on magic too.
