Nine-year-old Bangladeshi author Rituraj Bhowmick Hriddo has made history by earning a place in the Guinness World Records as the youngest person to publish a book series.
Rituraj captured the hearts of millions across Bangladesh during the COVID-19 pandemic through the popular Facebook father-son duo “Baap Ka Beta,” where he and his father, Shuvashish Bhowmick, entertained audiences with matching outfits, song covers, and heartwarming family moments.
Despite his young age, Rituraj has already authored two books. His first book, Goodwill Factory, was published in 2022, followed by Goodwill Factory 2. Both books feature short stories that inspire readers with meaningful life lessons and positive moral values.
Celebrating the remarkable achievement, Rituraj’s father shared the exciting news on Facebook, where thousands of well-wishers flooded the comments with congratulations.
Expressing his pride, Shuvashish Bhowmick wrote, “Seeing my son’s name and my country’s name together on a global platform is a feeling beyond words. I truly have nothing more to ask for in this world.”
Rituraj’s Guinness World Record is not only a personal milestone but also a proud moment for Bangladesh, showcasing how young talent, creativity, and determination can achieve global recognition.
Rituraj Bhowmick was born on August 22, 2013. He lives in Dhaka, Bangladesh and studies at Australian International School.Bhowmick’s father, Shuvashish Bhowmick also sings and supports his son’s career. Rituraj Bhowmick gained popularity by singing and sharing videos on social media with his father’s support. Bhowmick can play guitar and had a keen interest in modern-day band songs from an early age.
In 2019, his cover of Tahsan Rahman Khan‘s song went viral, leading to a mass number of followers on their Facebook page and YouTube channel, Baap Ka Beta. Bhowmick caught the attention of a telecom company, resulting in his first TV appearance on January 11, 2020. Bhowmick aspires to be an army officer like his grandfather and enjoys playing cricket.
