The word “Magic” is quite magical itself. A sad person can be made happy after seeing a magic show. There is nobody who does not like magic. However, children are the ones to be the most fond of magic. In Bangladesh, there are thousands of magicians and some of them are quite renowned.
Children are the future of a nation. They need our support and love. If we show them our love, they will grow up to be good human beings. Today we are going to talk about a magician who loves children and most of his magical shows are organized for children. This renowned Magician’s name is Rajib Basak. Day by day he is becoming a mile stone for magic in Bangladesh. He is extremely talented and in his heart, which is as big as an ocean, he holds boundless love for children,
Rajib Basak was born in Chittagong on 17th of July in 1970. His father Late Biswanath Basak and mother Late Swati Basak.
Rajib wants people to give magic the respect it deserves as a profession. He has performed in about 10,000 magic shows till now. He even has a record of performing in 11 shows in one day, which is a record in Bangladesh.
Rajib Basak believes that magic is an art, which is not being practised as much as it should be. There is at least one Shilpokola academy in every district where Dance, Art, Music and some other forms of art are being practiced. But magic is not taught in any institution, which is quite disheartening,
Magic, as has been mentioned before, is an amazing form of art that can really change a person who practises it. Therefore Rajib thinks we should put the spotlight on magic too.
