Atharva made his professional debut as an actor with a short film Life After (2016). He became famous for his short film and TV commercials. Atharva then got his first break with a Web Series. He played a role in Amazon Original’s Breathe (2018). He had worked in film commando 3 and played the role of Abeer. The show had R. Madhavan, Amit Sadh, and Sapna Pabbi in the lead roles. Atharva played the role of Josh Mascarenhas in this show.
