Innovation, creativity, and determination have become the defining qualities of Bangladesh’s young generation, and Namia Rauzat Nubala is a shining example of this promise. Through her exceptional talent in robotics and technology, she has earned international recognition and proudly represented Bangladesh on one of the world’s most prestigious robotics platforms.
A Grade IX student at HURDCO International School, Namia was selected as one of only ten students to represent Bangladesh at the 26th International Robot Olympiad (IRO), held in Busan, South Korea, from 17–20 January 2025. The competition brought together some of the brightest young innovators from around the world, providing participants with an opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, technical knowledge, and problem-solving abilities.
Namia delivered an outstanding performance throughout the competition, winning the Gold Medal in the Creative Movie category (Senior Group). Her project impressed the judges with its originality, creativity, and effective use of robotics concepts. Adding to her remarkable success, she also secured the Bronze Medal in the Physical Computing category (Senior Group), proving her versatility across multiple areas of robotics and technology.

Her achievements reflect not only her technical skills but also her dedication, perseverance, and passion for innovation. Competing on the international stage against talented students from numerous countries, Namia demonstrated that Bangladeshi students are capable of excelling in science, technology, engineering, and robotics when given the opportunity.
Beyond the medals, Namia’s success serves as an inspiration for young learners who dream of pursuing careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Her journey encourages students to embrace creativity, develop problem-solving skills, and explore the limitless possibilities of technology.
