A 12-year-old boy named Nathan Hershkin has discovered the skeleton of an extinct dinosaur in Canada. Scientists believe it was a skeleton at least 69 million years ago. News from the BBC.The child said he saw a skeletal object last July while traveling in the mountains of Alberta with his father. The incident was reported to the Royal Tyrell Museum authorities. They sent a team of researchers to the place with pictures and addresses of the skeleton. The long rescue operation ended on Thursday. 30 to 50 bones were recovered from there.
The research team says the dinosaur was 3 to 4 years old. A previously recovered dinosaur skeleton was sold at auction for ০ 4 million.
In a statement, the museum’s ecology curator said the discovery of the hydrosaurus was “very important.” Because we have very little idea of what kind of dinosaurs or animals actually lived in Alberta. This discovery by Nathan and his father, Dion, will help fill in the blanks for our knowledge of the evolution of dinosaurs.
Nathan Hrushkin has wanted to be a paleontologist for as long as he can remember, and the 12-year-old has already made a significant discovery. He found a partially unearthed dinosaur fossil while hiking with his dad this summer at a conservation site in the Horseshoe Canyon in the Badlands of Alberta, Canada.
“It’s pretty amazing to find something that’s like real, like an actual dinosaur discovery,” he told CNN. “It’s kind of been my dream for a while.”Nathan is a seventh grader in Calgary, which is about an hour-and-a-half away. The fossil was a humerus bone from the arm of a juvenile hadrosaur – a duck-billed dinosaur that lived about 69 million years ago, according to a news release from the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
Nathan and his dad, Dion, had found bone fragments in the area on a previous hike and thought that they might have washed down from farther up the hill. They were just finishing lunch when Nathan climbed up the hill to take a look.“He called down to me, he’s like, ‘Dad, you need to get up here,’ and as soon as he said that I could tell by the tone in his voice that he found something,” Dion Hrushkin said.
Nathan said the fossil was very obvious and it looked like “a scene on a TV show or a cartoon or something.”They sent pictures of the bone to the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology, which identified the fossil and sent a team of paleontologists to the site.Fossils are protected by law in Alberta, and the NCC said that it is important that people don’t disturb any fossils they may find.
The crew has been working at the site for about two months and uncovered between 30 and 50 bones that came from a single young hadrosaur that was about three or four years old, according to the statement.Hadrosaur bones are the most common fossils found in Alberta’s badlands, but few juvenile skeletons have been found, the statement said. It was also found in a layer of rock that rarely preserves fossils.
“This young hadrosaur is a very important discovery because it comes from a time interval for which we know very little about what kind of dinosaurs or animals lived in Alberta,” François Therrien, the Royal Tyrrell Museum’s curator of dinosaur palaeoecology, said in the statement. “Nathan and Dion’s find will help us fill this big gap in our knowledge of dinosaur evolution.”
The fossils were very close together, so the paleontologists removed large pieces of the surrounding rock from the canyon walls. The bones were then covered in a protective jacket of burlap and plaster, so they could be taken to the museum for cleanup and further study. One of the fossil-rich slabs weighed about 1,000 pounds and was more than four feet wide, according to Carys Richards, a communications manager with the NCC.
Nathan had heard of the hadrosaur before his big find but said it wasn’t the most well-known dinosaur. It’s probably his favorite now – beating out the wildly popular Tyrannosaurus rex.Nathan and his dad have come to watch the dig several times since the discovery and were there on Thursday when the team was hauling out the last specimens.“It was pretty fun to be there and watch them do their things,” Nathan said.
Opportunity to study Aerospace engineering at just 12 years old!.

But if you hear that 12 year old student will study ‘Aerospace Engineering’ the next day! Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either. An American boy named Saleb Anderson got the opportunity to study aerospace engineering at the age of 12 at the University of Georgia in, USA.
Saleb Anderson is also the youngest student in the world to read about this difficult subject. In fact, Anderson has a rare talent from a young age. He can easily understand and learn anything. He learned sign language at the age of only 9 months. He also learned fractional numbers at the age of two. Only then can everyone understand his rare talent. Anderson was also admitted to the first grade class at that age. However, Anderson had to suffer in all this. He said that when he was in middle school, he was often ignored by older students.
After that he decided to show his talent. In the end, overcoming all obstacles, Marietta passed school from a college and this time Anderson on his way to university. University authorities have also expressed their delight at Anderson’s opportunity. Anderson also visited the college campus one day. He was met by the campus president. Show around labs and universities. He later said that everyone is very happy that a rare talent like that student has joined this university.

Madhubala is the best beauty of all time in Bollywood.Mumtaz Jehan Begum Dehlavi, better known by her stage name Madhubala, was an Indian film actress who appeared in Hindi films. She was active between 1942 and 1964.
Even today, no one has been able to snatch the title of the best beautiful actress in the history of Indian cinema. Madhubala was the only one to have this title. Her successful film life, failed love and untimely death were highlighted.
One nymph goddess of love
The world may fall in love once in a while, Is Dard Ke Lekar Jite Hai, Is Dard Ke Lekar Morte Hai … Peer Kiato Dorna Keya … Whose voice expresses such longing for love is the most beautiful actress of all time in Bollywood. Madhubala. Born on World Valentine’s Day, her love may have spread to film, audiences, producers, co-stars and even the world. That is why even today, when one compares Venus with the goddess of love, Madhubala’s name comes up without hesitation. She has become an apsara goddess of love in everyone’s heart. Stay forever.
36 years of hard life
Born with a small hole in the heart. At the age of 26, the doctor informed him that she would live only a couple of years. Madhubala lived for another nine years, proving the theories of medical science wrong. The legendary Indian actress passed away on February 23, 1989 at the age of 36. Madhubala was born on February 14, 1933.
Mumtaz to Madhubala
Before setting foot in the film, her name was Mumtaz Jahan Begum Dehlavi. She started her career as a child artiste in the film ‘Basant’ in 1942. Later child artist in a few more pictures. At that time, actress Devika Rani was fascinated by the performance of child Mumtaz Jahan and changed her name to ‘Madhubala’.
Later the popularity started with this name. The next story is from 1949. The movie ‘Mahal’ was made under the banner of Bombay Talkies Studio. Madhubala got a chance to play the main character. Mahal was one of the three best-grossing films at the box office in India that year. Following the success of this film, she acted in the notable successful films of that time called ‘Dulari’, ‘Beksur’, ‘Tarana’, ‘Badal’
That’s why come into acting
Madhubala was born into a poor family. Her father worked for a tobacco company in Peshawar, Pakistan. Madhubala started acting at the age of nine to make up for the loss of her family as she lost her job. Her family was left in the lurch when her five siblings died at the age of five or six. Then on April 14, 1944, their small house was lost in an explosion at the Mumbai Dock. Mumtaz Jahan was the only light of hope in the misery of the family. She was the main earner of his family.
She provided food for her mother and four sisters by working hard. She was the fifth of 11 siblings. In 1948, at the age of 14, she played the lead role in the movie ‘Neel Kamal’. In her acting career from 1942 to 1970, Madhubala has acted in about 70 films. Notable films of this actress include ‘Amar’, ‘Arman’, ‘Mughal-e-Azam’, ‘Barsat Ki Raat’, ‘Tarana’, ‘Passport’, ‘Dulari’, ‘Bekusur’ etc.
Invitation to Hollywood movies
Madhubala was one of the most popular and successful actresses in India in the fifties. The owner of this impeccable smile attracts the attention not only in her own country, but also in Hollywood. The feature on Madhubala, written in the August 1952 issue of the American magazine Theater Arts, was titled “The Biggest Star in the World – and She’s Not in Beverly Hills.” Oscar-winning American producer Frank Capra wanted to make a film about Madhubala. But her father Ataullah turned down the invitation in Hollywood.
As much love as Madhubala
Madhubala’s life was filled with love by many men, among them actor Dilip Kumar’s name is probably the most frequent. The pair first met on the set of ‘Tide’ in 1944. They fell in love with Dilip Kumar in 1951 while starring in ‘Tarana’. One day during the shooting, Madhubala sent a red rose with her hair dresser and a note written in Urdu to Dilip Kumar and asked him to accept the flower if he loved it. Dilip Kumar was fascinated and accepted the flower. In fact, the pair had a relationship for five years.
Although they did not get married, their engagement was completed. Dilip Kumar gave two conditions to Madhubala for marriage. One. You can’t have a relationship with your family after marriage, two. Must quit acting. Madhubala was not willing to leave the family even though she was able to withdraw from the screen life. Then their relationship broke down. However, the actress’s sister said that Dilip and Madhubala broke up for a court case.
Again near Dilip
The time-honored Hindi movie ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ witnessed the ups and downs of Dilip Kumar and Madhubala’s relationship. When the tone of their relationship breakdown began to spread, director K Asif came to them with this movie. He wanted their real-life mind-blowing chemistry to come alive and shine on the silver screen. The movie, which has been made for nine years, has witnessed many more. Dilip Kumar-Madhubala’s real life tumultuous love, the melody of breaking up in that love, then the separation of Bedna-Bidhu came to life in the character of Selim-Anarkali on the screen.
There have been many times during the making of this movie when they did not even talk to each other. However, they did the work of the movie with all their compassion, holding their wounded hearts, and gave their best performances. And as a result, the movie is not only the best movie of their career, it has become a milestone in the history of Hindi cinema as a whole. Mughal-e-Azam was released in 1970.
Love with Bhutto
Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was on the list of lovers in the life of the beautiful Madhubala. Bhutto had a lot of property in India before partition. When Bhutto became Pakistan’s minister in 1958, Bhutto had to go to India. That is the source of his conversation with the immaculately beautiful superstar actress Madhubala. Madhubala was then shooting for ‘Mughal-e-Azam’. Sometimes Dilip Kumar has started cracking down on me. Shocked, Madhubala’s mind was trying to find someone new.
There were rumors at that time that Madhubala had found Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto! It is said that Bhutto often appeared on the set of ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ to catch a glimpse of Anarkali. Madhubala’s relationship with Bhutto did not last long. According to many, perhaps Bhutto realized they had no future in this relationship; Because for Madhubala he can only be a shoulder of trust. They don’t have a relationship like a life partner. In fact, Madhubala was still in love with Dilip Kumar. He never forgot the pain of failing love. This is the end of the mysterious love story of Madhubala-Bhutto relationship.
Married to Kishore Kumar
Madhubala married Kishore Kumar in 1980 after he was buried in a love affair with Dilip Kumar and Bhutto. Kishore-Madhubala’s identity and relationship started on the set of ‘Chalti Ka Naam Gaari’. According to her sister’s biography about Madhubala, even though she married Kishore Kumar, she loved Dilip Kumar. She even married Kishore Kumar to show Dilip Kumar.
Elusive Rajkapur-Madhubala pair
Unlike Rajkapur, his film ‘Chhalak’ was supposed to be released in 1986. But shooting of some parts of the film is left. Madhubala was so ill at the time that she could not finish shooting and the Rajkapur-Madhubala duo remained elusive as the film was not released.
As much as achieved
In 1952, the famous Theater Arts magazine of America honored Madhubala as the ‘biggest star in the world’. In 2008, a commemorative stamp was issued in India with the actress. Everyone agrees that she is the best beauty in the history of Indian cinema. Not only her outstanding looks, but also her acting talent made her strong position in Hindi cinema in the fifties by impressing Nargis and Meena Kumari. He ascended to the pinnacle of fame and glory in his short career from 1947-1980. But could not avoid the cruel destiny. The truth was the words of the saint, who saw her at a very young age and said ‘this girl will gain a lot of fame, but will not be happy’.
I was watching a documentary on how a former under-aged bride spoke out in Pakistan. The whole documentary reminded me of the fact that it is a big fortune for a female in South Asia to be born in a privileged family and to live in a society that despises child marriages and is unprecedented about it. In Asian countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh child marriage is a social norm still in practice. So, what is the root cause of child marriage?
Some will say it is solely the economic deprivation of people in rural areas. Some will say it’s their way of protecting females in the society. However, in my opinion, it is the after-effect of all the reasons mentioned above.
Child marriage still prevails
In Bangladesh, the legal marriageable age for a female is 18. Yet, it is not improvised fully. There are many instances out there that makes us understand the problem very well. A doctor shared her opinion regarding this. She states, “Being from a South Asian country, I second that child marriage still exists in our society. I see young girls coming to us in our Hospital being pregnant at the young age of 14-15. They face lots of complications “. It is actually the mindset of people that needs to be changed first.
We should tackle the issue from a societal level. Rather, we try to do it from an economic perspective. People have to label sexualizing a young child’s physical growth as a taboo. We can address the entire problem from grassroots level through educating men of previous to present generations from the poor states all over South Asia.
The marriage certificates fabricate the age in many cases. Hence, they do not get caught. We have to showcase issues like these more to raise awareness. I encourage people to voluntarily participate in child marriage awareness program. Consequently, we can eradicate this tradition from our society. Through seminars and social media, we need to make young girls aware of their self-worth, mental health, and physical health.
The young girls should know that their only option in life is not getting married and maintaining a household. They can be fully independent and pursue their own dreams. Therefore, we need to address the problem from the very root to make it successful.
Once upon a time, two friends went hunting in a dense forest. They have been friends since childhood. They had adequate bonding between them and they trust each other in any case.
It was a dense forest. And the density of trees make the trouble to find the way out. But it was a challenge and an adventure to them to hunt in this jungle. They both were insanely stubborn child, so, in a morning, they left out for a hunt.
Walking by the jungle, they were gossiping. The elder one between them ask to the younger one,
“Will you leave me and climb a tree if such a bear come?”
“No, I don’t know how to climb a tree.” Said the youngest of them.
An eagle was sitting on the trunk of a tree and looking at them. A snake passed by them in a strange silence. And none of them noticed anything.
“And you? What would you do if a bear came?” The younger one asked his friend.
“Run. I don’t know how to climb a tree, I don’t know how to act like dying. So, I would run.” The elder one replied.
Few moments later, they saw a fawn nearby and started chasing it.
As they chased the fawn they plunge into the deep forest. They had no consciousness while chasing the stag.
Suddenly they realized that they had lost their way to go back home. They stopped chasing the deer. And they got frightened. Already the sun started moving to the West. In this mysterious jungle, night falls very early. They both weren’t sure about what to do in this situation. The youngest of them cried out desperately,
“Is anyone here?”
No answer came from anywhere, only his words echoed back again and again. The night was dark and full of terrors. The owl in the trees began to move. As it happens, They found a large trunk of a tree and spend the night over there.
In the next morning, the little boy felt thirsty. So they started looking for water instead of searching the way to go home. The jungle was specious. They couldn’t find a drop of water anywhere. They hunt for water until the noon. The sun was scorching over their head. And they started getting tired.
Eventually they found a huge cavity where the water was far below.
The older one between two had a large leather bag in his shoulder. The younger one began to lift water through the bag with the help of a rope.
But he was tired. So that he couldn’t lift the water bag.
Seeing him felt, the older boy said,
“You can’t. Give It to me.”
But the little boy was insanely stubborn so he kept trying.
The older boy said to him again,
“Give It to me. You can’t.”
And the little boy kept on trying not to listen to his friend.
Seeing no other way, the older boy pulled the rope from the little boy’s hand and began to lift water bag by himself.
But he was tired too. After trying to grab the water bag for a while, he fell into the depth with his eyes closed. The little boy was terrified to see his friend fall. The older boy started screaming from the bottom of the cave,
Soon the little one started trying to lift his friend from the pit with a rope. He tried and tried and tried. He tried hard. He kept on trying until the evening. And finally, he managed to lift his friend from the hole.
After being saved, the older boy asked his little friend,
“You couldn’t lift the water bag from the cave but how did you pull me out of It?”
The boy took a moment, looked into his friend’s eyes, and answered into his sluggish voice,

In the dawn of the 20s, the COVID-19 pandemic has pushed the timeline of
mankind in a different direction as if an alternate timeline. This very pandemic has
taught us the value of interactions, people, workplaces, environments, schools,
communities, friends, families, and life itself. When we are caged in our own home
or should I say house arrested just to flatten the curve, it is really important to stay
motivated to stay out of depression and most importantly allowing time to oneself.
Generally, the concept of allowing time oneself is replaced by the word entertainment. Entertainment obviously is one of the fundamental necessities of human life. The one disadvantage of being a human is we cannot work like robots we need distractions to increase productivity so we cannot think a day without modes of entertainment. Some like reading books, its like diving in the ocean of knowledge to know the unknown. Some like watching movies/series/anime, which are becoming a popular source of entertainment in this century. Who doesn’t like to drown with Jack and cry for Rose while watching Titanic! Or there is none who does not feel the flow of rages when Thanos got the sixth stone and perished half of the world! Although I have found some of my friends who are fans of Thanos. Or is it “I am Iron Man”?? No one can hold one’s tears back in the eyes while watching Miracle in Cell No 7!
People like to think out of the box. It’s the prerequisite of inventions. When you read ‘Tin Goyenda’ or ‘Feluda’, some of you may think to create some characters like these, again when you read ‘A thousand of Splendid Sun’ you may think yourself as Mariam and you may have better stories to tell! There comes writing stories, another form of entertainment.
While buying a mobile phone, one of the main priorities of us is a nice camera with greater megapixels, variable apertures, Sony or Samsung Sensors, and whatnot. Once upon a time, there was a master of martial art who had his own camp for practice. He used to sit and train his students. Many did not see him walk. Most of the time he had been seen sitting.
One day a senior player was walking alone in the field. And he was limping. seeing the player, a little boy asked his master,
“Master! Why is this man walking like a crippled?”
The master said,
“That man has only one ball under his Trouser, that’s why.”
The little boy got shocked and replied,
“But how? How is this possible?”
Master said,
“He lost one of his balls in 1971 at the independent war.”
The boy said, “seriously? How did he lose that?”
“Because He said to the military that he has two balls under his trouser. That was the fucking reason.”
The master started laughing. And The boy plunged into deep thought.
The boy took time and asked,
“Why is a man going to say that he has two balls when everyone knows all men have two generally?”
Master replied with a chuckle,
“Because he has three balls in the past actually. And the military was checking under his trouser whether he is Muslim or not. But the stupid man thought the military was checking his balls”
After saying this whole story about the player who was limping on the field the master started laughing loudly. The little boy has remained silent. Thinking about the story the master said to him moments ago.
“Oh, my boy! My smart boy! You got me. Yes, I am joking. Now keep your concentration on Stretching. Otherwise, It may cause you hamstring injury.”
Actually, The truth was, master Used to hate that senior player who was ruled out of the Olympic Last year due to his hamstring injury.
A few years later, the master got injured by cancer in his own balls and there was no way to keep him alive without cutting one of his balls out of two. The doctors cut his ball and saved his life.
After this happens, one day the Master was coming towards the field for teaching. And the boy was the first time seeing his master walking. The master was cramping. And the little boy asked,
“Master! Why are you walking like a crippled?”
Master didn’t like the word ‘crippled’ from his student. So he replied,
“Oh, my boy! My sweet boy! Did you remember the story I told you about a man who lost his ball in 1971 at the independent war? That man was no-one but me.”
The little boy said,
“Oh, master! I feel pity for you.”
Master replied with sorrow,
“Don’t Think much about It, boy. Keep concentration in your stretching. And remember, Never make jokes at someone’s plight.”
The coronavirus pandemic has caused hundreds of unemployment in Bangladesh and all around the world. For some people, there is literally no source of income as they have been kicked out of their work. People are struggling with paying for their daily needs and wants. People cannot afford food, as the price of the ingredients have become higher due to the pandemic
The pandemic has caused a rising concern over people’s incomes. Those jobs who did not kick employees out, are paying only half of the payment they were supposed to provide. Other working jobs are not paying the employees at all, even though, they are making the workers work full time. This is really concerning and troubling in the daily people’s lives.
The workers, however are getting demotivated because of the sudden change in their salary. They demand full salary due to the immense workload they have. But the employers are stubborn and not listening to the full time employees. It is causing a huge gap between employer employee relationship.
A valid concern about the workers are that they need to feed themselves and their family but failing to do so due to lack of income. They are even leaving their jobs and become unemployed due to this.
Unemployment has been going on since the start of the pandemic. In my opinion, the government should take steps in covering the expenses of its country’s citizens. It should provide a monthly wage to the incomeless families. However, another concern is the safety of the citizens.
Government should provide certain safety measures such as k95 masks and educate them about safety. I’m sure in this way, many countries would be educated and safe not increasing the pandemic any longer.

Our academic life consists of innumerable examinations . Have we ever thought what is the sole purpose of attending exams ? Basically an exam is a formal test that we take to show our knowledge or ability in a particular subject, or to obtain a qualification.
Academic exams are something which we face very often in our student life . Although with the course of time , exams have become an integral part , we sometimes fail to cope up with exam stress . Due to society pressure , peer pressure and family pressure exam has turned into a scary test for us .
I asked a friend of mine to state her opinion on this . She said , “For me dealing with exams has always been stressful. Frankly speaking, exams emphasize more on testing our memory rather than our intelligence. There are times when I had prepared well for exams but unfortunately I forgot many things while writing my answer script. Again sometimes staring at the question paper I got panic attacks. I think the main reason behind this is the fact we get pressurized from our family or teachers.”
Like she said there is a huge pressure of getting the perfect GPA score in board exams . So it is very important to know how to deal with this pressure effectively . Here are a few helpful tips to follow if you are a student .
1) Set up a routine:-
Having a proper routine will inevitably make your day productive . When we create a routine we have to keep in mind that the routine needs to be flexible , more elaborately speaking the routine needs to be such which fits with our lifestyle perfectly . There are various time management techniques we can easily find on the internet . For eg ;The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks . Many students have found this particular technique to be very helpful for them .
2) Avoid spending too much time on social media :-
We live in an age where social media has become the icon of our lives . It has bought the world closer , no doubt about that . But with the rise of social media people are now getting more and more addicted to their phone. Science shows that excessive use of any modern device has an alarming effect on human body . Medical researchers continue to examine any health risks associated with mobile phone use. Research has focused on germs, traffic accidents, cancer, electromagnetic radiation, and health effects such as changes in brain activity and sleep patterns.
3) Study through the Internet :- In Bangladesh there are various online schools like 10 min school , Onnorokompathshala , Neuron plus etc . They have a collection of videos on YouTube which are completely free . Students now can get a lot of help through online classes and tutorials .
(4)Develop ethics :- Patience and sincerity towards your academic life will bring the greatest change in your life . We have to always remember that a person with a sincere mindset becomes more successful than a person with dishonest intention. There is no alternative of hardwork when it comes to qualifications . Never give up working hard . Your hardwork and dedication will find it’s way out in life.
(5) Make friends carefully :-
Your surrounding will be comprised of the friends you make in your academic life . It’s upto you to differentiate between right and wrong in this regard. Staying in a positive environment will help you stay positive during your stressful days .
(6) Exercise regularly :-
Even a 30 mins simple cardio or a walk will help our blood circulation to increase and keep us feeling energetic throughout the whole day .
(7) Meditate to increase concentration :-
Paying keen attention to your class lectures is a very important part of student life . Many students have difficulty concentrating for a specific period of time . Consistent meditation and yoga helps to relax the body and mind .
(8)Participate in extra curricular activities :-
Qualities like leadership and experience can be achieved through participating in various cultural and extra curricular activities .
(9) Develop a habit of reading books :-
In order to rejuvenate yourself sometimes it is better to read books other than your academic ones on your spare time . Make sure to never forget that books are a man’s best friend.
(9) Follow the advice of inspirational people :-
It is very important to follow inspirational people to boost up our determination .
Lastly the most important thing in student life is confidence . There will be very tough and stressful times in our student life . But we can easily overcome it through putting efforts in the best way possible . At the end of the day everyone has different techniques and strategies with which they can improve their abilities . We need to find out ways to gather and simplify information in order to understand it better .
A very debatable and first world problem is racism . Very harsh truth is, racism is instilled in us from our childhood. If we dig a bit deeper we will learn that society is held responsible for it . But what does it mean by the term “ society “? Society consists of us .
A particular way of thinking is prevalent in us which has been passed down through generations . That way of thinking develops into our mentality . Our mentality is reflected clearly in every part of our life later on . Mentality actually puts our perception and understanding ability within a limited range and it leads to our selective taste and picking favorites .
It leads to us having our very own definition of “beautiful vs ugly “ . It leads to various materialistic society standards . If they are not fulfilled we start criticizing and complaining . Every country has its own society standards . In our country Bangladesh , the most common mentality reflection is that we prefer fair skinned people over dark skinned people . Dark skin is considered as a disadvantage .
This is why many dark skinned people try various ways to bleach their skin . Asia is considered to be the largest consumer market of skin lightening and fairness products . These whitening products lead to decrease in melanin production and increase risks like skin irritations , allergy and deadly skin cancer .
In whitening products ingredients like mercury, steroids , BHT, BHA, Dioxane, Fragrance needs to be watched out as they can be toxic for your skin . Yet people are still buying these products because they are not confident to be themselves .
Body shaming has also been a prominent topic all over the world . Females are especially vulnerable to this topic since we are being bombarded with perfect body goals and unrealistic standards all over social media . Young girls are getting insecure day by day and are choosing to starve to get their ideal body and look like their favorite model. They are in a constant pressure to lose weight by society also.
Instead of this approach, a proper healthy diet and healthy lifestyle needs to be promoted more . A healthy lifestyle will help us improve our metabolism , strength , energy and make us happier as a person . Just like this , beauty standards are leading people to have low self esteem and mental issues . Teenagers are more affected to matters like this .
Discrimination related to social class is also an extremely common scenario here . People are judged openly for their economic and lifestyle status in every sector including institutions , workplace , gatherings etc . It plays a vital role and affects the social relation . People are treated differently based on their social and economic status . People with lower income range especially laborers are being insulted and exploited financially by their privileged owner .
Even though we are a nation where people of different religion and culture are living together harmoniously , our perspective needs to change a lot and we still have a long way to go in this journey of optimistic development and lifestyle change .
If you want to influence someone, make them feel the complete opposite of what they are feeling right now. If they are angry, make them laugh somehow. If sad, then again, make them laugh. And bam! They are into you. Something significant happens when someone’s emotional state is shifted suddenly and rapidly. It feels hypnotic. We feel drawn toward the things, persons that/who shift our mood instantly.
Amygdala is the part of the brain that receives emotional drifts. Amygdala is the most primitive part of our brain that allows us to remember feeling something in a certain place or phase. It is the part of the brain that is responsible for the automatic responses and snap judgments we make. Amygdala hardly reasons with careful logic, it just remembers the feeling and causes us (humans) to respond to the feeling.
When you explain your misery and at the same time, you laugh about the drama of it all, that is what you do to the other person. You have them hooked (toward you). And since the amygdala doesn’t question too much, before they even know it, they are attracted to you. Having a sense of humor goes a long way when it comes to influencing others and even yourself.
Corporates know it very well. Some even have a job title like “Grief Expert” in their HR Department!
Another favorite movie of mine “Terminator 3” had a dialogue that was somewhat an inspiration for this article. “Anger is more useful than despair.”
Luckily youtube has the scene cut out for you
You get the idea.
Any emotion but despair is useful. Comedy is clearly more productive than grief.
One of my favorite movies “Shawshank Redemption” had a dialogue that really hit me. “Get busy living or get busy dying.”
Learning to move on and get on with your life is the best thing you can give yourself. “When we are no longer able to change a situation – we are challenged to change ourselves.” – Viktor E. Frankl
A highly effective person refuses to wallow or whine
One of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is they gain control over the things they have control over, rather than whinnying over the things that are not really in their control. They choose to focus on the things that are in their control instead of sweating over the things that are not in their control.
Certain things about you and your life are beyond your control. They are not within your purview.
Having a sense of humor gives you a sense of control.
Being helpless and vulnerable to so many things that are far beyond your control, you feel a psychological lack of control.
And a human has to practice control at things to satisfy his or her need of being in control. A person with anxiety is found to be overeating. Why? Because when you are anxious, you feel fear. It becomes a regular emotion that you don’t know how to control. You don’t get to practice control. So often you will find yourself practicing control at counterintuitive things. Overeating is just that.
All this sermon is just a fancy explanation of the saying “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”
Not taking things personally
By laughing at your most embarrassing, dumb story, you give yourself a subconscious message “It’s not about you. It’s just life.” You laugh at the drama of it all, disassociate yourself from the cause. This is the 101 coping mechanism for not taking things personally.
TEDx speaker Frederik Imbo put this term really well.
He argues that for a person to be able to not take things personally, they must remember these 3 things.
Number 1: Know that it is not about you (Not that you deserve this). It is the circumstances or environment that is causing the other person to mistreat you.
Number 2: You don’t get offended by the words that you think are untrue. In fact, you only get offended by the words that you know, deep inside, are true.
For instance, if you are skinny as hell, and someone calls you fat, do you take it personally?
No. Because –
a) You know that the person simply doesn’t know what s/he is talking about
b) You know that there is no way it (the fact that you are fat) is true.
Number 3: If it really is about you (the fact that you are at fault and accountable for what happened), accept it, and give yourself empathy.
Remind yourself why (and how) you turned out to be the way you are and know that it’s not your fault.
By being able to humor about the unpleasant events,
You give yourself empathy (rather than waiting for someone else to do it for you)
You cut yourself some slack
You acknowledge your pain and misery
You give words to your sufferings (in a way, through humor)
This is the right way to move on, without taking things personally.
Stepping on the toes of your hater
Also, when you can humor on your shortcomings or painful past, you kind of step on the toes of your haters. By criticizing yourself, you practically do their job for them and subtly steal their thunder. You get comfortable being uncomfortable. And when you would have gotten yourself that particular skill of being comfortable with the criticism, you would piss off a lot of people. Trust me on this one.
“Humor was another of the soul’s weapons in the fight for self-preservation. It is well known that humor, more than anything else in the human make-up, can afford an aloofness and an ability to rise above any situation, even if only for a few seconds.
I practically trained a friend of mine to develop a sense of humor. I suggested to him that we would promise each other to invent at least one amusing story daily, about some incident that could happen one day after our liberation. …
The attempt to develop a sense of humor and to see things in a humorous light is some kind of a trick learned while mastering the art of living. Yet it is possible to practice the art of living even in a concentration camp, although suffering is omnipresent. To draw an analogy a man’s suffering is similar to the behavior of gas. If a certain quantity of gas is pumped into an empty chamber, it will fill the chamber completely and evenly, no matter how big the chamber. Thus suffering completely fills the human soul and conscious mind, no matter whether the suffering is great or little. Therefore the “size’’ of human suffering is absolutely relative.”

Although Baulism originated from the second half of the 18th century, it was popularized by the Baul emperor mystic Guru Lalon Fakir. Baul emperor Lalon Fakir was able to create a distinct religion of Baul concept.
Lalon was a Hindu. She got married at a young age. After marriage, he started his journey in Srikshetra. On his way back, when he contracted smallpox, his companions left him in the middle of the road and spread the news of his death. A childless palanquin bearer named Siraj Shah picked up Lalon from the path and healed him.
When Lalon returned home, he was not allowed to go home as he had eaten Muslim rice. His wife also denies the expatriate husband. Seeing no change, Lalon returned to his patron Siraj Shah and accepted him as his guru.
After completing his pilgrimage in 1823, Lalon married a Muslim woman in Seoria village of Kumarkhali in Kushtia and settled there permanently. After Lalon’s death in 1890, he was buried here. Which is now widely known as Lalon Shah Mazar.
When I got on the bus at Gabtoli terminal with Lalon Shah’s shrine in front of my destination, it was 3 minutes to 5 o’clock. After leaving the bus, a consolation came, let’s go. I get on the bus and think to myself, get off at Kushtia, first the hotel, then rest, eat and drink, then sleep. The next morning goes straight to Sanji’s shrine. Then … the shrine of Lalon Shah.
Before going to the premises of his shrine, Lalon’s song was played in his mind. Then one by one I couldn’t help but sing. After a while, when I reached Savar, there was a lot of traffic noise and that busy picture again. Lalon’s song was lost for a while.
The plaque of the National Memorial was seen a little further after the traffic jam was cleared. The bus was speeding due to the fact that the road across Manikganj was a bit empty.
At this time, the wind was blowing through the window of the bus and the two eyes were closed as soon as it hit the body. I am at Paturia Ghat as soon as I open my eyes. The conductor said it would take 10 minutes, another passenger said 15 more minutes.
Then the ferry started moving through the middle of the Padma. I got off the bus and went to the audience cabin on the third floor of the ferry. Sitting on the third floor, the devastating Padma looks quite good.
It is a wonderful moment when the setting sun sets. I came to Kushtia and stayed in a hotel. The use of the hotel manager was very good. He also entertained the reporter by raising a cup of tea. After spending the night, after breakfast, go straight to Sanji’s shrine by rickshaw.
I went down in front of the shrine gate and noticed a small market on the right side. Ektara, Dotara, a combination of folk instruments in almost all the shops. I was wondering if I should buy something first. In the end, I decided to go to Guru’s shrine first and then go shopping.
As soon as he entered the shrine premises through the gate, a sense of self-respect was working in him. All around is clean and tidy. In front of the shrine where the mystic devotee Guru Lalon Saiji is lying in eternal sleep. Some more tombs. Several Lalonbhaktas tasted it. They go with the bounties they get from the visitors.
Wherever I went I found out this entertainment is on the ground floor of the auditorium. Upstairs is the main room of the auditorium. Occasionally there are various events here. The auditorium is quite improved. There are a library and museum next door. The museum has a monograph used by Lalon Fakir along with specimens of several folk collections. Affordable handicraft items also increased the interest in shopping.
Hundred year old Jhaudia Shahi Mosque located at Jhaudia village in Kushtia sadar upazila, about 6.5 km west of the Kushtia-Jhenaidah highway. There are many mysteries surrounding the mosque. However, no one knows the exact history of when and who built it.
The mosque is built on a low plinth with an open courtyard. The main mosque is an oblong building and the entire compound is surrounded by a wall. There are two additional octagonal domed pavilions on the corners of the front boundary wall.
These corner towers are similar to those of Sat Gambuj Mosque in Dhaka and Ghoraghat Fort mosque in Dinajpur. Each pavilion has four axial arched openings. Their presence suggests that they were used as madrassah or for reciting the Quran. In between the pavilions, in the middle of the eastern boundary wall, there is a gateway to enter the mosque premises.
It is known that there is no history or book about the mosque. However, according to many locals, the mosque was miraculously uprooted many years ago. Since then, Muslim mosques have been maintained and worshiped. Since then, word of the construction of the mosque spread in the area and many people came to see it.
Many claim that Shah Sufi Adari Mia came from Iraq about 1100 years ago to spread Islam in Jhenaidah, Kushtia and Bagerhat. He settled in the village of Jhaudia between Jhenaidah and Kushtia. It is said that he built the mosque and preached the religion in the whole area. After the death of Adari Mia, he was buried in the area adjacent to the mosque. However, the locals said that he had no descendants in that place. A shrine committee was set up to maintain his grave.
There is also more disagreement about the construction of the mosque. The entrance to the mosque is inscribed with a large man-made identity and was established during the reign of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
But there is no mention of who built it at that time. Even local conscious people could not say anything about its origin. The mosque is made of brick, stone, sand and porcelain. It has 5 lovely domes on the top and two minarets at the entrance. It has wonderful artistic craftsmanship. Easily captivating.
